I’m keeping it very brief because it was a very slow tech news day. What caught my eye, however, were three case studies (2 from AWS and 1 from Google) showing off how customers are doing things like AI on huge Spot Instance farms and building banking services using Cloud Spanner. There was a period when every new AWS user was a cool story, and then it all became pretty mundane. So I’m happy to see how new services are starting to lead to new examples we can all learn from about what can be built and how to build it.
